Centre County 2021 HMP Update is Approved Pending Adoption (APA)!
On April 19, 2021, FEMA approved the Centre County 2021 HMP Update, and the plan can now be adopted by participating jurisdictions.

The Draft Plan is Available for Public Review!
From January 8, 2021 to February 8, 2021, the Draft 2021 Centre County Hazard Mitigation Plan is available for public review, and we would like your input. You can review the entire document here on this site under Planning Documents. The Draft Plan Review Public Meeting is scheduled for January 7!
We are nearing the end of the planning process and are holding a final meeting open to the public to review information contained in the draft 2021 Centre County HMP. At this meeting, we will discuss how you can review the draft document and provide comments and valuable feedback. Because of our concern for and commitment to public safety, we have decided to hold this meeting virtually. Centre County Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Process Begins!
The Centre County Hazard Mitigation Plan Update is underway! The Hazard Mitigation Plan serves as a blueprint for reducing property damage and saving lives from the impacts of natural and human-made hazards. The Plan Update is scheduled to wrap up in May 2021.
