On February 24 and 25, Allegheny County will begin the update process for its Hazard Mitigation Plan. This Plan will serve as a blueprint for reducing property damage and saving lives from the effects of future natural disasters in our community. This Plan is also required in order for Allegheny County and your municipality to be eligible to receive certain types of state and federal disaster relief funds after a disaster occurs.
All HMP update documents will be available on this website in the Allegheny County HMP Library.
